19 Weeks

Well it's mine and Kyle's last week as a teenager! LOL. Today he is as big as this!



He's been a little more active (that I can feel) yesterday and today, so that's nice.

Here's my updated baby bump as well...I feel like I've grown alot in the last week and it's been confirmed with me falling asleep during the Bachelor (CRAZY I know!) and also being more hungry this week. One more week and we'll be half way! I can't believe it!

Low-lying placenta

Just got a call from the Dr.'s office. They looked at my ultrasound pictures and it looks like I have a low-lying placenta. Nothing to be concerned about now. More than likely it will grow upwards as my uterus is stretched up from the cervix. If it doesn't move then that means automatic c-section. I'm not scared. I trust that God has it taken care of. I will have to get another ultrasound next week after my appt on Tuesday with the midwife. I haven't had any bleeding at all so that's good. I will probably skip tennis this weekend just to be safe too. Just keep me in your prayers and pray for Kyle's safety too.

18 Weeks!

I'm 18 weeks today...I'm an adult! LOL

This week Sprout...I mean Kyle (still getting used to saying that) is as big as this Sweet Potato!! His daddy will be happy cause he loves sweet potatoes. The ultrasound tech said he was about 8 oz.

I'm hoping to start feeling him more and more. I have been feeling more pressure down there in certain areas when he's moving around so that's cool. Still can't wait till I feel real kicks and Ben can feel them too. I'll post my 18 week belly pic. I think It will be a little smaller than last week, but I think that's cause I was extra bloated last week. We'll see....

I also found out I have an anterior placenta so that's why I don't feel him kicking much yet. I will when he get's bigger. He's little only 8 oz.

Felt Sprout

I've been feeling little kicks for a week or two now but last night I had my hand on my tummy while I was sleeping and I felt a series of them on the outside, it was so cool! I was going to wake Ben up but the dogs were in the way (it was cold so they snuggled between us) and it stopped. Maybe next time. I can't wait to start feeling Sprout do flips and stuff.

Sprout is growing

Today I definitely feel bigger than ever before. I was wearing my regular pants with a belly band and it just was too uncomfortable. I couldn't zip the pants so they wouldn't stay up in the back..I went home at lunch and changed into my maternity pants...those are even feeling tight today. This morning when I got to work though it was the weirdest thing the lower part of my stomach was hard in one place then it would move to another spot and anytime I turned a certain way or crossed my legs it felt like something was in the way...must be Sprout betting bigger! I will post a new pic on Thursday.

And let's not even talk about the upper portions above my stomach...I was thrilled to go to Victoria Secret last week and buy myself a bigger bra...Ben's hoping it lasts after Sprout and breastfeeding. LOL...me too :) I've heard that it's when you are laying down you can feel the baby more but I find it's when I'm sitting. It may be my tilted uterus but I'm not sure. I just can't wait too see how big Sprout's gotten on the ultrasound next week!

16 Weeks and appt update

Well I had an appt. today. It went well. I brought my MIL and she was happy to come and be involved. We got to hear Sprout's heartbeat. It was beating good and strong though we didn't get a BPM. I found out that I'm O negative, so we have to find out if Ben is RH positive and if he is then I have to take medicine for it cause I don't want my blood conflicting with Sprout's. So we'll see. I also set the date for the big ultrasound!! Feb 17th! I'm hoping sprout cooperates and we get to find out boy or girl...we are so anxious to know and finally name the baby! Ben especially is anxious to know too...So I decided to start a poll on my blog for you guys to vote on what you think it is. My opinion seems to change weekly. For a long time I felt like it was a boy, now I'm thinking a girl. We'll know in a week and a half though!! Yay!! We're so excited!

Update

I just wanted to give everyone an update that Ben has committted to being my labor coach...yay! He realized how much I really wanted him to do it (thanks Dad for talking to him) and is going to help me get ready for labor. I'm very thankful that God changed his heart about the whole thing, though I know he's not sure about the all natural thing still I think he's willing to look at it with me so that's good. Thanks for your prayers.
