Baby Trend Jogging Stroller Review

My friend reviewed the stroller she just got and I've been wanting to tell you about the one I chose so here we go.

So when we bought our Evenflo travel system I figured in time we would need a better stroller. The strollers that come with the travel system are great to attach your carseat to and use for shopping but aren't really made for exercising and really manuevering. With the weather getting nicer I knew it was time for a new stroller. Now I don't jog but I can power walk and my evenflo stroller that I pushed through the sand last summer just wasn't up to snuff. I thought about planning ahead and getting a stroller that could add a seat for kiddo #2 someday or just get a double but since I don't know when that day will be I figured I should stick with something to fit my life now.

I did my reasearch and looked at my options. I knew my ultimate desire would be for a BOB Revolution...but I didn't have any extra $450 laying around so I knew my budget would be more in line with a Baby Trend or Jeep. They range anywhere from $130-$190. I knew I wanted a swivel front wheel that could be locked, not a fixed wheel only. We went to Babies R Us and tried them all out and I chose this one: The Baby Trend Expedition LX for $139 at Babies R Us plus a 20% coupon I had.

It was easy to put together and the first time I used it was awesome. The second time I used it the front wheel started shaking like how the wheels on a four wheel stroller will sometimes. I thought maybe the wheel was loose so I tightened it and the bold under the foot rest but nothing helped. Sometimes I would shake and sometimes not. In the locked position it didn't have a problem. I went online and saw that this was a problem with all of these cheaper joggers, everyhting except the BOB of course. At first I was really dissapointed but I figure I can just keep the wheel locked when I don't need it to swivel because I can't afford a BOB. Maybe someday, but right now I will just have to be happy with what I have.

It still is way easier to push and maneuever than my other stroller so I'm happy with that. The size of the basket is fine, it is easy to fold up, and it is more compact in my trunk than my old stroller. I do wish the seat sat up straight but I think joggers seats recline more for aerodynamics anyways.

So overall I am happy with what I chose. I will be moving on to a double stroller hopefully someday anyways.

Looks like a cute stroller. Hopefully it will continue to work well for you until you need the double!

And can you believe the cost of some strollers? I am not going to spend $300 or more on a stroller for sure!

It's a nice stroller. There are some baby jogging stroller, which cost very less. I think you should look for the right sources, before buying it.
