Best decision I ever made after my postpartum hyperthyroidism became Graves' disease. Did you feel the instant relief? It was like someone turned off a motor. I have to say though I was not fully prepared for the TSH crash at 4-6 weeks postsurgery. They did not tell me it would be that bad. It was a slow climb out as they incrementally increased my meds, but by the year anniversary I was feeling like a different person. Praying for your recovery and being a mom/wife/friend during it. It's a tough job, but you can do it!
