Father's Day...a little late

I know this is a little late but I had VBS last week and didn't get a chance to post the pictures from Ben's first Father's Day! I made him a cheescake and we went to have sushi. I think he had a really good day. I tried to make it special for him.

How living on one income changes your perspective

Since Kyle was born we are blessed enough for me to be able to stay home while Ben works and goes to school. I have definitely not had the freedom to spend money as freely as I once did when I worked full time. You learn that you can live on a lot less and wonder what you did with all the money you once had. These are some of the random things I view differently now.



- I find bottles of old shampoo and conditioner I never used up before I got bored with them so I'm finishing them all up. I even had a half bottle of Bed Head shampoo!



- Do I really need to buy toilet paper this week if we have a few rolls left, will it last till the next paycheck?

Kyle you are 11 months old today! Just one more month till your 1st Birthday! This is what you are up to this month.

You are 18lb 7oz! You gained 3 lbs in 2 months!

You wear size 12 mo clothes mostly, but still need 9 mo shorts cause you have a skinny waist.

You dropped your two daytime nursing sessions this month but you still love to nurse when you wake up in the morning. You will probably drop the one before bed in the next few weeks I think because you just aren't interested in it much. I am so excited we are going to make it to a year of breastfeeding though. It's ok you are starting to wean yourself, you are becoming such a big boy!

You drink 18-24 oz. of Oat Milk during the day and eat 3 meals and 1 snack.
You decided this month you like peaches again and that watermelon is yummy.
Meat isn't your favorite but you'll eat it if it's in something like spagetti or lasagna
I need to get you to eat more veggies. You will eat them pureed no problem, but the only thing you will eat that isn't is peas and sweet potatoes.

You stood on your own this month, and took your first step yesterday! I can't wait for you to walk!

You slept alot this month, your naps have been awesome 2-3 hours twice a day! That's how I got 2 pictures of you sleeping this month!

Only one more month till your birthday! I can't wait! I love you!
